July 1st is quickly approaching! We’re aware of some Frequently-Asked Questions about our move, so we hope the following information is helpful:
Number 1— You will still be seeing us, Dr. Allgeier and Dr. Buttleman. We are not retiring!! Our staff will also be at our new address in Fern Creek. The care you receive will be the same. This move is allowing us to remain independent and offer the same high standards of care.
Number 2— You will only go to the Dixie Highway location if your child needs to be seen on a Sunday or a holiday. The providers and staff at both locations will have access to your child’s medical records, so they can view history and enter updates. Visiting another physician within our group who already has your information is much better than going to an urgent care facility.
Number 3— If for some reason we are both out of the office, (which has happened just once in 20 years) there will still be someone who can see you. This will be especially helpful on Saturdays.
Change can be hard, but we truly believe this is a win-win for you and for us. We are striving to make the process as easy as possible. There may be a few hiccups during the transition, but we will get through this together!

Dear All Star Pediatrics Family,
As you may already know, we are part of an organization called ONE Pediatrics. Together with South Louisville Pediatrics and Springs Pediatrics, we operate independently as a small group so our top priority can always be high-quality patient care, rather than corporate demands.
To maintain the goals we’ve had since first incorporating over 10 years ago, we are condensing our practice locations to the following two offices as of July 1, 2025. Using this model, we will be able to offer appointments every day of the week, in addition to other benefits:

Your child will continue to see the physicians and staff you know and trust. By combining resources, we’re able to offer the best parts of each practice in two convenient locations. You can look forward to:
- Appointment availability every single day, including Saturdays at both locations; Sundays and holidays at the Dixie Highway office
- Access to a larger group of experienced physicians
- Prompt responses to parent questions/concerns, record requests, and prescription refills
- In-house labs and vaccines, including immunizations for Medicaid patients
- Easy-access offices with family-friendly parking
Our patients’ medical records will transfer seamlessly. We ask parents/guardians to bring an up-to-date insurance card to every appointment as an ongoing policy. We expect minimal interruption to regular services but appreciate your patience as we settle into our new professional home.
